Fresh Frames | Sunglass Hut Is Officially Open!

Sunglass Hut, the leading international retailer of sunglasses, is now officially open in The Shops of Saddle Creek!

The gorgeously designed store is located right in between Free People and Madewell. What started out as a small kiosk in Miami in 1971 is now a huge brand that offers over 30 designer brands in today’s must-have shapes. They are also part of the Italian-based Luxottica Group, the world’s largest eyewear company.

Timeless Classics At Vineyard Vines

Vineyard Vines, the iconic brand with the tiny smiling whale logo, is now open in The Shops of Saddle Creek!

Founded by brothers Shep & Ian Murray in 1998, Vineyard Vines has always been a brand that strives to bring you and your families “every day should feel this good” moments.

Famous for its smiling pink whale and whimsical ties, they create a wide range of clothes and accessories for the Good Life, from polos and tees to performance gear and Shep Shirts for men, women and kids.

Finding Fitness Motivation with Fabletics

New year new you! Well, maybe you’re not that extreme, lol, but the start of the new year IS actually a great time to recharge and refocus on your goals, especially those related to fitness. It can be hard finding motivation around this, but we all know that incorporating movement regularly into our routine is great for our health, so here are a few tips to help you out!

Consider buying a few new workout pieces.
I don’t know about you, but nothing motivates me to workout more than getting cute workout clothes. I love wearing sets vs. just throwing anything on, so adding in a few new pieces is perfect for reactivating the excitement around going to the gym. Treat working out as a form of self-care.
Regardless of how you decide to incorporate more movement into your life, treating it as part of your self-care routine can help make it easier to do. Working out is not only good for your body, but it’s great for your mental health as well. It’s a lifestyle!

Focus on consistency vs. intensity.
Consistency means something different for everyone, but one thing to remember is that you don’t have to kill yourself in the gym in order to feel like you got a good workout in. Even just going for a 30 minute walk can help improve your health over time, so do what makes sense for your schedule and makes you feel food.

Find workouts you actually like instead of what “everyone else” is doing.
You don’t have to be a Pilates Princess just because it’s the trend right now. One of the keys to enjoying working out and making fitness a normal part of your life is doing what you actually enjoy. I’m not saying working out should be easy, but it doesn’t have to feel like the worse thing in the world to do. You’re much more likely to stick with it if it doesn’t feel like a chore.

Winter Wardrobe Essentials From Evereve

Just because it’s cold outside, doesn’t mean we have to throw caution to the wind and look frumpy when it comes to your style. You can still look good while braving the elements, honey! Must-Try Fall Trends with Madewell

When I think of Fall, there are certain sartorial trends that will always come to mind: cozy knits, easy denim, and a touch of leather (amongst other things). Yes, we all have our own unique personal style, but I’d be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge that there are certain pieces/trends that should make its way into our wardrobes when the temps begin to cool.

Madewell’s current Fall collection is full of those quintessential pieces to add in, so if you were looking for a little style inspo, here are some of the must-try Fall trends.

Houndstooth Boyfriend Blazer
One can never have too many blazers, and a relaxed-fit, houndstooth blazer is a perfect layering piece to add in for Fall. Pair it with your favorite distressed denim to dress them up a bit, or give your corporate trousers a more “cool girl” fit by wearing it over an easy tank and finishing the look with chunky loafers.

Plaid Skirt
Skirts are alway fun, and this hunter green color screams Fall. Wear with a chunky turtleneck sweater and ankle booties for a classic Fall look, or pair with tights and a leather jacket for a style that’s a little more mod. If you want to dress it down and keep it super casual, wear it with a denim jacket/button down or sweatshirt and sneakers.

Whether it’s a classic moto jacket or a pair of leather trousers, you need a strong leather piece to add a bit of edge to any outfit. Moto jackets go with everything, and leather trousers can be dressed up or down depending on how you style them.

Easy Flannel
Flannel is another Fall staple, but not all style are created the same. Go for a more soft, neutral color palette to avoid looking like a lumberjack, and use it as a layering piece over your favorite pair of denim on days when it’s still a little cool out.

Classic Accessories
Gold hoops and layering necklaces will NEVER go out of style, and you will always need a pair of neutral/tan colored leather booties to wear with all of your skirts, denim, and maxi dresses.
