Germantown, Tennessee - The Mango Street Company announces the opening of its second location as Mango Street Baby in Saddle Creek Mall, Germantown on Wednesday, August 1st. Grand Opening events will be held Saturday, August 4th from 10 am to 9 pm.  The August 4th Grand Opening Celebration will include special sales and drawings for portrait sessions with Kevin Barré Photography, personalized sketches by John Marston, strollers, gift certificates, and more. Certified safety experts will be on hand to correctly install car seats and check for automobile safety; lactation nurses will also be available throughout the day.

Chastain says, of opening the new location, "We are thrilled to be opening in Germantown.  Our customers east of Memphis have been asking us to bring Mango Street a little closer to them.  The new store will introduce innovative lines while retaining all the unique flavor of our first store. As always, we pride ourselves on having the distinctive products that reflect life on the original Mango Street: character, quality, and a love for life."

Originally opened in 2001, Mango Street Company is owned by Autumn Chastain, mother of two girls: Petrea (2) and Soah (born June 16th).  Over the last six years, the store has grown and evolved in its Chickasaw Oaks location to become an all-baby specialty boutique in 2005.
